We wanted to turn that natural sharing into a chance to earn, on their own terms, with the freedom to choose when and how they get involved.

The program is a structured global community with training, ongoing support, and simple weekly commission payouts. Ambassadors can earn up to $1,000 USD or the local currency equivalent each month when 25 new customers send money with Remitly using their code.

If you’ve ever shown a friend how you send money home, or told your audience which app you trust, you’ve already done the hardest part of being an ambassador. The Global Ambassador Program is built around that moment, and rewards you for it.

Here’s how it works. Join the program, and accept the brand ambassador agreement. From there you go through onboarding by completing the training, learning our Dos and Don’ts guide to promoting your promo code and taking a short knowledge quiz. Once that’s done, you’ll get a unique offer code to share with members of your community who might want to send money abroad. When someone new signs up and completes their first qualifying transfer using your code, you earn a commission. What’s great is that the person also gets money off their first transfer as well. There’s no cap on how many people you can invite!

Being an ambassador works around your life. You join as an independent contractor, not an employee. There are no targets, no minimum hours, no reporting in. You cover your own costs and handle your own tax, on your own schedule.
