Security researchers participating in Remitly’s bug bounty program will be able to report potential bugs through HackerOne’s advanced reporting software, enabling Remitly’s security teams to promptly assess and address issues.

Remitly is proud to announce the public launch of our bug bounty program in collaboration with trusted security platform, HackerOne. Starting this week, we are inviting security researchers worldwide to identify potential security weaknesses within Remitly’s platforms. 

At Remitly, our customers are our first priority, and we take our responsibility to protect them with utmost importance. Since launching our private bug bounty program in 2018, Remitly has worked with thousands of security researchers to continually enhance the trust and reliability of our services for the millions of customers who rely on them. 

“Collaboration with the global information security community is a key component of our cybersecurity strategy,” said Darren Challey, Remitly’s Chief Information Security Officer. “We know that opening our bug bounty program globally allows us to tap into the world’s brightest security minds to help ensure our platforms remain both trusted and secure.”

Security researchers participating in Remitly’s bug bounty program will be able to report potential bugs through HackerOne’s advanced reporting software, enabling Remitly’s security teams to promptly assess and address issues. Remitly will offer monetary rewards for qualified security bugs, which increase based on the severity of the finding.
