Since its founding in 2015, the Remitly Cares Scholarship Program has been at the heart of our efforts to support the communities we serve, providing much-needed financial support to Filipino students.
Supporting Students, Strengthening Communities. To date, the Remitly Cares Scholarship Program has awarded over 2,000 scholarships and provided around $900,000 in financial support to contribute to students pursuing higher education in the Philippines.
A Day to Remember: The Remitly Scholars Meet-Up. This September, we hosted an unforgettable meet-up in the Philippines, where Remitly scholars came together to share their stories, forge new friendships, and connect with Remitly employees. The room was filled with warmth, laughter, and inspiration as students spoke about their journeys and dreams, while employees shared their pride in being part of the program.
